This is a very fun game and if you have the graphic capabilities, it's visually impressive. I don't often play first person shooters but I found the controls very easy to learn and the concept of a suit with different functions was very fun. For example, with the click of your mousewheel you can tell your suit to go into stealth mode (turning you virtually invisible), super strength, maximum armor, maximum speed. Each function eats up your suits power which also acts as a buffer health bar, so using up your suit power will leave you open to taking damage. The game is great in that you can takle situations in a variety of ways (rambo style or sneaky and stealthy for example) and you can also interect with just about anything (shoot down trees then pick them up and throw them, or pick up chickens to bowl down other chickens).

I did find the game a little buggy in places but hopefully there will be patches released later. In any case they didn't ruin the game play for me. Although the "grab enemy" function was a bit touchy and since my tactics relied on that, it made things frustrating at times.

I bought the Special Edition but found that the extras weren't anything I would have missed. The art booklet is nothing special and the additional content dvd is just ok. I haven't even listened to the music cd yet and in game I hardly payed any attention to the soudntrack.

The game is playable online and the online games are unique and very fun. I'd recommend this game but depending on your budget, think about the special edition before buying it. Although it's only a few dollars more and the metal cover is very nice and sturdy.
