i love the nintendo wii.
it is good for kids as it can keep them active without going outside!
its not good because the kids will fight over it.
it is a reasonable price, but could be a bit lower. it is also good because it gives the kids something to do while also giving them a work out.

The Nintendo Wii is a simply wonderful. Nintendo should have kept the Revolution moniker for it, as it will change the gaming world through its innovative design.
The controller changes everything about console gaming. It is incredibly responsive - once game designers start taking advantage of the technology, there will be no other way to experienc FPS gaming. It doesn't eat up battery power, I have had it for 6 months now and have changed the batteries only once - and that is after 60+ gaming hours of Zelda and many more playing various other games.
The Virtual Console is another revolutionary concept. Combined with the ability to play Gamecube disks, every Nintendo game is available to the owner of the Wii, or will be as Nintendo releases the games on their online service, at a very reasonable price. Games are released each Friday, and in six months a hundred are available for download.
The console is easily used, Nintendo ensures there is virtually no learning curve for it. Upon setting it up (a 15 minute task) you are taken to the Wii Channels page, which is a customizable module that allows you to arrange your favorite pages. There is even an internet browser that is easy to use and can access any site on the web. Give me a wireless keyboard in the future and I'll use the Wii and TV as my Internet browser from the comfort of my couch.
I could go on and on. I've never been happier with a console, and I've either owned or played nearly all of them. There are downsides, it is only capable of minor HD resolutions (and to access these you need to buy an inexpensive AV plug) and the console itself is not as powerful as its competitors.
But the superb gameplay and growing library of classic Nintendo titles makes it my console of choice. What good are DVD quality graphics if the games are uncontrollable monstrosities? I play it, my fiance plays it, and I wouldn't sell it for anything.
